Upon being unable to give an appointment date to TkMM because of his concentrated election campaigns, Selahattin Demirtaş stated that he is sorry and this meeting couldn’t occur because the campaign duration is very short and they are in the need to reach many citizens in many cities in this short amount of time. However, he stated that he agrees with the Call for a New Life with a Peaceful Turkey perspective, and the principles TkMM emphasizes in the 10 Demandments text, all of which he has also been sharing with the public himself as well. Expressing that he will definitely work to shape a regime based on those principles in the 10 Demandments text, Demirtaş also emphasized that their work and their expressed ideas until today has been the guarantee of this.

We are sorry for not being able to give you an appointment date. This meeting couldn’t be realized because of the campaign duration is very short, and we are trying to get to many citizens in many cities in this short amount of time. However, the principles you indicate agree with our New Life Call with a Peaceful Turkey perspective, and the Democratical Change process which we also shared with the public. If I am elected President of the Republic, I will definitely work on shaping a regime based on these principles. Our work and ideas expressed until today serve as a guarantee to this. I wish you success in your work and send my kind regards.
