TkMM October 2014 Common Denominator Report was announced with a press conference by CHP Adana Deputy Osman Faruk Loğoğlu at the Parliament.
Welcoming the new Legislative Session by organizing press conferences in the provinces they actively work in September, TkMM held its first meetings in October, continuing the work from where it was left.
With the general agenda “The Changing Balances in the Middle East and the Foreign Policy of Turkey”, in the meetings held in 18 of the active 22 provinces, 272 non-governmental organization representatives, 6 Parliament members and 1 mayor gathered to debate the topic.
The Common Denominators of the TkMM October Meetings come together under three titles:
- The IS is a terrorist organization, and Bashar al-Assad is a dictator.
- For both the background and for the future of the incidents recently developed, both sides need to be foresightful.
- Both the demonstrations and the interventions made against the demonstrations have to occur on a legal basis.
