Two days of seminars in Ankara on the 10-11 September 2011 were attended by 31 participants coming from TsNA workshops from provinces who also worked in the initiative kitchen.
Two days of seminars in Ankara on the 10-11 September 2011 were attended by 31 participants coming from TsNA workshops from provinces who also worked in the initiative kitchen. On the first day there were invitees one each from the four parties that have representative in thi grand national assembly. AKP Ankara MP Emrullah İşler, MHP Antalya MP Mehmet Günal, and BDP Deputy Chair Şırnak MP Hasip Kaplan presented their observations and ideas on the initiative and responded to questions, listened to complaints.
All three guests stated that their parties are embracing the initiative and stressed its significance of public participation in decision making processes. For contact with TsNA AKP Deputy chair Mahir Ünlü and İstanbul MP Mustafa Aktaş have been appointed; BDP has decided to support openly and this is to be officially announced to the party machine, MPs, Mayors was told by their representatives at the seminar. (CHP Vice General Secretary Ayten Kayalıoğlu responsible for Public Communications was not able to attend being otherwise engaged)
There were two “honor” guests and two “surprise” guests at the seminar. Former İHD President Hüsnü Öndül related hies iempressions as someone who have attended TsNA and TGNA coworkshops. The honor guest of second day was Batman former MP Mehmet Emin Ekmen and he have been coming to sNAs regularly showed us how it looked from the other side of the table. First surprise guest was MHP Iğdır MP Sinan Oğan have accidentally heard about the meeting and came in to take a look. And the secon guest was Mazlumder General Secretary Ahmet Faruk Ünsal have been with us at the very start as our representative at the TGNA, a friend we have shared the platform at the first press conference. Both expressed their contents.
First day of the seminar problems encountered at provinces were conveyed by the coolies of those towns. On the second day solutions to problems and the effective empmloyment of the rapidly changing communication facilities were discussed.
The 2012 meeting for TsNAs will again be held in Aünhkara on 21-22 April. On the 23rd of April small National assemblies will celebrate the National Sovereignty Holiday. Exchanging greetings are not solely for religious holidays, are they? 23 April is as good as any to start a tradition. And we invite TGNA, MPs and the media to help take up the baton in this endeavour.
